Shore to please

Cleopatra was powerful and got what she wanted. While on vacation in Turkey, she just wasn’t happy with the beaches there.

So, to satisfy her desire, Mark Antony had the white sand that she liked much better, brought all the way from Egypt!

The beach of Sedir Island (also known as Cleopatra’s Island) is heavily protected by the government to prevent any sand being removed from the beach.
